Planetary Rose
Whether you're a lover of all things bright and colourful or not, you must admit that these photographs are simply beautiful. I was inspired to make a post about the new Planet Blue Lookbook after reading about it on the Nylon website and being mesmerised by the rainbow hued clothing. The clothes are simple yet bold, however it's the lavender dyed hair, the chunky accessories and the desert backdrop which really make this lookbook unique. Being a lover of photography myself, I find every one of these pictures stunning. The model, Chloe Norgaard, is gorgeous and the clothes suit her look perfectly. Planet Blue have certainly taken neon to the extreme, with flashy blazers in pink and body con dresses in orange. They've also incorporated some geometric and aztec patterns within the materials, which are among several other trends that have been particularly popular recently. Personally, I love every look. Would I wear all of them? No. But there's just something so magical and fun and youthful about every photograph, I can't help but be blown away. Speaking strictly from a photography point of view, the shots are creative, and very hipster - but in all the best ways. I applaud the photographer, Zoey Grossman, for making every photograph perfection, and Planet Blue, for coming up with a lookbook so edgy and kaleidoscopic that one cannot help but be envious of any girl who can pull off the hippie-turned-fashion-goddess look.
